Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) 30 day Indiegogo campaign.

Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Transcript For Strip 2082

Panel 1
Cut to Lorelei DeClayre, seated at the roundtable. (end potato-box) It's in the 'Panoctagon' although we only see sections of it the background through strip 63. As a clue of transition we can see a bit of the bottom of Panel 4 in the top of this one, as a hologram.

Lorelei: The tough lawman bit has played well with the public, but I think we're dealing with something a lot bigger than chasing anillos de roubo and quelling local squabbles.
Lorelei: I think we should consider working with Ambassador Montanha-Flores.

Panel 2
Pull back to show Kofi on the left and Alyss on the right staring daggers at Lorelei.
Lorelei: Don't look at me like that!
Lorelei: I'm not saying give him the keys to the city.
Alyss: But that's what they'll steal if we let them.

Panel 3
Francisco Da Costa, flanked by Dominic on his left and Montoya's empty seat, and then Kāng, on his right.
Da Costa: So we don't let them steal the keys. Surely we can negotiate some arrangement that gets us the intel we need without giving up anything important.
Kāng: Most of us were not born yesterday. We can proceed, but cautiously.
Panel 4
Back to Lorelei, flanked by Achal, Kofi (on her right) and Alyss (left). Lorelei looks offended.
Lorelei: 'Most of us?' I may only be 243 years old but I don't see …
Kofi: Sheath your claws, DeClayre. I think he was referring to Achal. He's only 112.
Achal: My mother always said I was old for my age.
