Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Still at the second custom agent's station. A cone of light shines on Nicole, her arms outstretched. The agent studies the readouts on her console monitors.
Agent: Uh – huh. I thought so.
Panel 2
Two-shot of the agent and Nicole, angled so that Nicole is in the foreground, looking at her zringer on her right hand.
Agent: You just thought you could waltz right through here with an unlicensed deadly weapon, did you?
Nicole: You mean my zringer? Is that a problem?
Panel 3
Medium close-up on the agent, looking a bit tired.
Agent: Look miss, we're no fascist tyranny. We do allow people weapons.
Agent: Even visitors can carry zingers or zringers, provided they have the proper permits.
Agent: But I don't see any permits on your record.
Panel 4
Two-shot of the agent and Nicole. The agent holds her hand forward, palm up. Nicole recoils, holding her right hand in her left.
Agent: I will need to confiscate your zringer.
Agent: Hand it over.
