A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 1338
Panel 1Alyss, Sargon, Elric and Lupin, armed and helmeted, pop into a dark, utilitarian-looking room. Everyone has a larger, meaner-looking version of Diana's wrist-zinger on their forearm, and Alyss is carrying some kind of long-gun slung over her shoulder.
SFX: POP!
Sargon: Ugg. The gravity here really sucks.
Alyss: Cut the chatter. Stay sharp, and stay close .
Panel 2
Alyss leads Elric, Lupin and Sargon along a corridor.
Sargon: Why didn't we simply pop directly into the detention block?
Alyss: Because it's full of guardbots. We'd be in a firefight before we could get our bearings.
Panel 3
The group proceeds carefully past a corridor intersection.
Sargon: So much for the element of surprise.
Alyss: We lost that when Bok and Zander were spotted earlier.
Alyss: Now, shut up unless you have something useful to say.
