Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.
All of this should show up in June.
Transcript For Strip 1007
Panel 1Nicole and Murphy in the control cabin. Murphy is releasing her safety harness.
Nicole: Why use an experimental drive at all? What's wrong with ion thrust?
Murphy: It leaves a trail that, given enough time, might be detected and followed.
Panel 2
Murphy is leaving the cabin. Nicole starts to follow. Environment is zero-gravity.
Nicole: The odds against that must be – a million to one!
Murphy: Seamus felt it would be a total disaster if anyone should find his secret laboratory.
Panel 3
The girls enter another compartment, a lounge designed for zero-gravity.
Nicole: So here we are – cut off from everyone, including the network, and presumed dead.
Murphy: Unfortunate but unavoidable given security needs.
Panel 4
They settle into 'couches' set into the walls with arm and ankle straps they use to hold themselves in place. Nicole looks like she wants to cry.
Nicole: Li is going to be devastated when he gets the news.
Murphy: Li is busy fighting his war by now. If Pandora is smart she won't inform him until after they've won.
