Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Nicole is laying on an examination table, nude but covered by a sheet. Murphy is turning away from her, holding a small device.
Caption: Two hours later:
Murphy: Okay, we're done. You can put your anysuit back on.
Nicole: That was the most … personal physical I've ever had to endure.
Panel 2
Murphy has moved over to a counter where she's inserting the small device into a larger device on the counter. Nicole is sitting up now, but still covering her front with the sheet.
Murphy: The normal phys-scan is not precise enough for our purposes here.
Nicole: For whose purpose? PAP smears went out with pocket computers.
Panel 3
Murphy turns to regard Nicole, as Nicole is donning her Anysuit.
Murphy: Not really a PAP smear, but I suppose the experience is similar.
Murphy: You should let me know if anything goes awry with your next menstrual cycle.
Nicole: Trust me, you'll be the first to know.
Panel 4
Murphy is walking out the door. Nicole is zipping up her suit.
Nicole: Where are you going now?
Murphy: Now I'm going to examine our star-boat, give it as thorough an examination as I just gave you.
Murphy: As soon as I can figure out how to do a PAP smear on it.
