Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

QUANTUM VIVE is taking a break for a few weeks, as we prepare for Part 2 of the Novo Palermo story, and also for a Kickstarter campaign for Part 1, which will start in September.
In the meantime, Not-Safe.Space will continue, as a murder mystery begins and the relationship between Eithne and Diana develops in unexpected directions.

Panel 1Li and Nicole, wearing their helmets and backpacks, face off. Li is holding a fake long-knife.
Li: Okay, the enemy may likely have zinger suppression in the building.
Li: A guard comes at you with a bladed weapon. What do you do?
Panel 2
Nicole quickly pulls her collapsible shovel from the bottom of her pack, and un-collapses it, to Li's surprise.
SFX: Ker-CHAK! Shikkt! SHAKKT!
Li: Wha --
Panel 3A
Nicole swings the shovel blade (blade vertical, she doesn't want to kill him) at Li's head. Li ducks.
SFX: WHOOSH!
Li: Woah!
Panel 3B
She jabs the handle-end of the shovel into Li's solar plexus.
SFX: CHUDD!
Li: Whuff!!
Panel 4
A now-distraught Nicole stands over Li, who is curled up on the floor.
Nicole: Omigosh, I'm sorry! Are you hurt?
Li: {gasp!}Naw, I'm good. {Grunt}
