Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
In Mr. Foot's classroom, Bok, carrying an electronic tablet, is walking forward to take his place beside the instructor.
Foot: You actually have your essay prepared on time?
Bok: Don't I always?
Foot: No, but now I'm intrigued. Please begin.
Panel 2
As Bok speaks, reading from his tablet, the hologram behind him shows the planet Windemere, with a diagram indicating its protective magnetic 'Van Allen' field. Windemere is a blue-green-white marble, resembling Terra.
Bok: 'Windemere was one of the first-wave colonies, established early in the First Great Expansion on a T1-class planet with natural magnetic fields.
Bok: 'Rich in resources and with attractive climates, it quickly developed into a wealthy and highly-populated world, settled by Terrans, Lunans, and Huoxingese alike.'
Panel 3
Bok continues. Dialog fills most of the panel.
Bok: 'Over the next two centuries the settlers from the various old worlds established their own cities and territories, under the auspices of the old Mercantile Corporations: GENSAXWAL, OmegaTek, and HuoJinGong.
Bok: 'While social friction developed from the outset among the diverse cultures, peace was maintained by extending the trade agreements established by their respective founding Mercorps in the Home System.
Bok: 'Also, by widespread distribution of Dynalube at the block parties.'
