Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

Back in the interrogation room, Foot is starting to enter as Lumbar continues lecturing Bok.
Lumbar: So you see, while a finely-tuned system like our society can have some tolerances, stability must be maintained. Do you understand?
Bok: I understand, Mr. Lumbar.

Looking past Bok as Foot hands over Bok's tablet and Bok's rucksack to Lumbar.
Lumbar: I hope we do not see a repeat of this sort of behavior, Mr. Clark.
Lumbar: Your father went down this path and we were compelled by necessity to take corrective action.
Lumbar: You are excused from class for the rest of the day. Go home.

Looking past Lumbar, handing Bok's rucksack to him. Bok's eyes are wide with surprise.
Lumbar: Your father has been released from Corrections, and is waiting for you.
Bok: My –?!
