A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.
All of this should show up in June.

Panel 1Bok and Zander, carrying their backpacks, are walking along a corridor. A sign above them points the way to MONORAIL 14. Behind them, Diana is running to catch up with them.
Sign: MONORAIL 14
Caption: Later that afternoon ...
Diana: Hey, Bok! Wait up -!
Panel 2
Bok and Zander and Diana, who's a bit out of breath.
Bok: Hi, Diana, what's up?
Diana: I wanted to warn you … {pant}
Diana: Don't be so trusting of Lorri. I think she's a 'porter.
Panel 3
Bok is looking very serious, conversing with Diana.
Bok: Oh? What makes you think that?
Diana: For one thing, her social standing is on a level with Sofia's.
Diana: For another, she's a female.
Panel 4
Bok and Zander both look askance at Diana, who is turning to depart.
Bok: Huh. I was under the impression you're a female, too.
Diana: Yeah, but I'm not ...
Diana: I don't have time … gotta catch my 'rail. See you tomorrow.

Bok and Zander are left to stand there and ponder.
Zander: I'm pretty sure she is a female.
Bok: I wonder how this situation can get more strange.
Voice from off panel, left: Hey, Bok!

Lorri has run up to them, likewise out of breath. Bok and Zander exchange glances.
Lorri: {pant} Had to talk to you {pant} before you left ...
Lorri: Don't trust that Diana {gasp!}
Lorri: I think she's a 'porter.
