Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Three-shot of Boney, Bok and Alyss, with Alyss as the focus. She is ending the interview.
Alyss: Go home to your father now, Bok. He needs you.
Alyss: Don't try to visit or contact me, unless Boney brings you or I call for you.
Alyss: Good night, gentlemen.
Panel 2
Bok and Boney are exiting the house.
Bok: So this is your mysterious connection?
Bok: She's not what I expected.
Boney: What do you mean?
Panel 3
Bok and Boney continue into the woods.
Bok: She was older than I expected …
Bok: And, well, she's a woman.
Boney: Yeah, so?
Bok: How many times have you advised me not to trust women?
Panel 4
Bok and Boney
Boney: You may have noticed that I very much enjoy having women around.
Bok: Sure, as menials, as underlings. Not as equals.
Boney: You're overlooking Giovanni, my roommate.
Bok: Yeah, well, she's kind of … unique.
Panel 5
Bok and Boney
Boney: So is … the woman we just met. 'Unique' doesn't cover half of it.
Boney: And by the way, don't even breathe her name in the clear, understand?
Boney: And don't mention this meeting to your friends.
Panel 6
The two young men part ways.
Bok: Don't worry, you know I'm discreet.
Boney: Yeah. I'll be in touch later.
Bok: Let me know if you find any other trustworthy girls.
Boney: Heh.
