A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 1246
Panel 1Looking past Bok, Alyss and Zander, we see the Corbot beginning to descend the steps. At this angle we can't see the base of the steps.
Corbot: The three of you will remain where you are.
Corbot: Any attempt to evade will result in severe sanction.
Panel 2A
Alyss fires her zringer upward, at the Corbot.
SFX: ZZIINGGG!!!
Panel 2B
As the zinger blast hits the Corbot in the chest, a beam emits from the top of its head.
SFX: Baff!
SFX: ZROW!!
Panel 3
The bot's beam hits Alyss' zringer hand, burning it severely. She reacts. Zander is close-by, looking on in shock.
SFX: ZORCH!
Alyss: AAAAA!!!!
Panel 4
Alyss doubles over in pain, cradling her ruined hand. Zander crouches down with her, partly in sympathy and partly in fear. The Corbot continues down the steps. We can see Diana crouching in the shadowy corner of the steps, next to Chekov's Shovel.
Alyss: Aaauuuggh...
Corbot: Defensive protocols engaged. Any further resistance will be met with deadly force.
Panel 5
Two-shot of Bok and the Corbot. Angle a bit upward so we only see the bot from his waist up.
Bok: How … how did you find us?
Corbot: You are not authorized to receive that information.
Corbot: You will remain here until reinforcements arrive.
Panel 6
Different angle on the corbot. We see a silhouetted figure rising up behind him, holding the shovel high.
Bok (OP): What will you do with us?
Corbot: That is for Security Central to determine.
