Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Exterior of Alyss' home in Oz
Caption: Alyss' home, in Oz:
Diana (from inside): And then he just vanished again!
Monty (from inside): A simple trick of holography, no doubt.
Monty: The same technology that your Anysuit uses, extended a bit.
Panel 2
Diana and Monty (Panther) are leaning over a console, examining an object.
Monty: Still, I must implore you not to bring un-scanned objects like this into the house again.
Diana: It turned out to be harmless, didn't it?
Diana: Not my fault I don't have a portable scanner.
Panel 3
Overhead shot of Monty and Diana, so we can see the object they're examining – it's a fingernail-sized gem, resting in a cradle.
Monty: You could have purchased one at the Galleria.
Monty: However, it is apparently harmless. A sealed data crystal.
Monty: In a few moments, I'll have it un-sealed.
