Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Goal Reached! [ Dec 11, 2024 ]
We reached our goal and then some. We want to thank all of our backers for helping us reach and surpass our goal. We also want to take this time to thank everyone who has contributed to supporting our strip by buying our books and reading the strip regularly so we can earn a little advertising revenue.
Because we set this up as a flexible campaign, anyone wanting to back this campaign and get a perk can do so through this Friday. For those of you still interested in backing our campaign, click on this link or on the picture to visit our campaign!
Hey readers! Looking forward to next week's launch of Quantum Vibe: Assimulation? I know I am.
And I appreciate every one of you who patiently waits through this 2-week break, which allows me to do some development for the story as well as put together the printed volume of Quantum Vibe: Venus 23 (on sale in October).
But today I want to mention another topic near and dear to my heart: PATREON. It's a service that allows anyone with a credit card to support artists and musicians they like with low (or not so low) monthly donations.
So far, about 155 of you have stepped up, donating a total of about $770 per month to help me pay my rent and keep the lights on while I produce this web-comic. And I especially appreciate my patrons.
But while that total helps, it won't be enough in the long run. Since my wife died in 2012, I've been burning up her life insurance money to stay afloat financially, and I only have a few months' worth left.
When it runs out, I will have to start doing other work full-time, drastically curtailing production of Quantum Vibe, going down to one or maybe two strips per week. Which would not make any of us happy.
So please, if you haven't already, click on the PATREON link on this page, sign up for the service, and send me some love. I do offer some incentives, and PATREON can also help you find other really cool artists and musicians you might like to help support.
Also, Please tell your friends you enjoy reading this strip. In the upper right corner of the page are some buttons that make it easy for you to post links for this page to various social media sites. The more readers this strip gets, the more secure its future!
