A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Now projecting holo-clothing, Hugo and Murphy walk along a corridor.
Murphy: I'm surprised she didn't show up with some electrocel.
Hugo: Maybe she's not here. Maybe it's Barbara this time.
Murphy: We can only hope.
Panel 2
They are paused in a doorway, looking into a bedroom.
Murphy: She's not in the guest chamber.
Hugo: But someone has been using this room recently. Look around.

Murphy is looking at a desktop comm terminal. Hugo is looking at a stand-up vanity, examining a bottle of some lotion.
Murphy: Judging by this playlist it seems our guest has some rather … eclectic musical tastes.
Hugo: Judging by this vanity it seems our guest is … female. There are female things here.
