To boldly go where no manic pixie dream girl has gone before.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)
Panel 1
Back in the ship's berth. The trio are on the deck, walking away from the ship. Eithne is shaken but walking under her own power.
Eithne: W-well, what do you think of my starship, now?
Murphy: A worthy effort, although I found a few small deficits that need addressing.
Murphy: I've sent a list to your inbox.
Panel 2
Medium three-shot, still walking along. Eithne has fingers to temple as she stares into space, checking her inbox. She's looking a bit steadier.
Eithne: Hmmm, yeah, I see your point. I can get those corrected in a day or so.
Hugo: Also, do we really need three chairs in the command room?
Murphy: One item on the list is replacing them with ring-stanchions.
Panel 3
Another 3-shot, both Hugo and Murphy looking at Eithne, who has a determined look.
Murphy: So, are you still up for our mad adventure?
Eithne: Wouldn't miss it for anything.
Hugo: Be sure to make a backup of yourself and send word to your grandmother.
Eithne: Yeah, you guys could fuck things up a third time.
