To boldly go where no manic pixie dream girl has gone before.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Cut to present: Alyss, Hugo and Murphy
Alyss: Ha! You're not used to eating humble pie, are you?
Hugo: That's not the only pie she ate.
Murphy: Do you mind? This is hard enough for me as it is.
Panel 2
Cut back to story: Eithne's quarters. Eithne is laying face-down in her bed, face half-buried in her pillow. Murphy stands in the hatchway.
Murphy: Ah … Eithne?
Murphy: It seems I did judge you unfairly.
Murphy: I've come to … ah … apologize.
Eithne: Apologize? I don't understand.
Panel 3
Murphy has sat down on the bed next to now-sitting Eithne, placing an arm across the girl's shoulders.
Murphy: Hugo took a closer look at your work and, well ...
Murphy: … it seems there's something funny about this galaxy.
Eithne: Well, it killed both of you twice. Isn't that unusual?
