A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Eithne, Murphy and Hugo walking along a corridor.
Eithne: So, what now?
Murphy: Now we need to learn their language.
Hugo: I'll have the ship's receivers decode and record all the video transmissions it can pick up.

Murphy: Then Hugo and I will parse and decipher the audio based on the video cues.
Hugo: Within a few days Murphy and I should be able to assemble a reasonable translation matrix.

Murphy and Hugo turn to enter their quarters, leaving Eithne in the hallway.
Eithne: You and … what do I do in the meantime?
Murphy: For now? Stand watch.
Hugo: Murphy and I have some over-due business to attend.
