A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Alyss: Dro-o-o-ga, Hugo, you haven't changed a bit.
Hugo: They invaded our home and shot Murphy. What was I supposed to do, kiss them?

Alyss: So how badly were you hurt?
Murphy: The energy blast disrupted all my systems, and there was extensive damage to my shoulder skin and servos.

Three-shot, Murphy leans over and holds Hugo's hand.
Murphy: Fortunately meu caro was able to nurse me back to health.
Hugo: The auto-doc was able to reset her systems and repair the damage.
Hugo: I was busy with other work.
