Story & Art: Scott Bieser - Sci-Fi Adventure Monday & Thursday.
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Nicole, in her Bubb, in an airlock that's a bit darker than the one she left a few minutes before. A sigil on the wall reads 'EG1.' She's still shaky but recovering.
Electronic voice: Outer door sealed, lock pressurizing.
A door in the airlock ceiling opens, Nicole looks up at it.
Electronic voice: Please proceed through overhead door to reception area.
Nicole: Overhead -?
Nicole in her Bubb enters another room about 5 meters square. In the corner we see an airlock door in the floor through which she has egressed. Nicole is looking around with a mixture of nervousness and curiosity. The walls are covered in a pattern of large, circular dimples.
Electronic voice: Welcome to Castle Hodge-Podge. Please dismount your Bubb and approach the inner door.
Split panel – having dismounted, Nicole stands before a rectangular doorway. There is no indication of a button or means of opening it.
Nicole: Uh – hello?
The door whooshes upwards. We see Nicole through the doorway, and she's taken aback by the sudden movement.
Split panel again. Medium close-up of Nicole looking slightly downward, eyes wide.
Another split panel. A close-up of a man's rather pudgy hand held sideways across a broad torso, clad in dark, flowing clothing
View of the same man from the chest up to the treble-chin
Nicole looking up at a 45 degree angle, her mouth agape.
Nicole: ... ubbuh ...
Looking up at the face of Dr. Seamus O Murchada – clean-shaven, a broad, generous mouth, a prominent nose, a mop of curly hair, and tired , brow-less eyes looking down at the camera.
Full-length shot of Nicole and Seamus facing each other across the doorway. Seamus is nearly two heads taller than Nicole and a bit more than a meter wide. His clothing is loose and drapes almost to the floor. On Earth he'd weigh 500 pounds.
Nicole: .. um ...
Seamus turns around and motions Nicole to follow him.
Seamus: I get that rather a lot.
Seamus: Please come with me.
