Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) 30 day Indiegogo campaign.

Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Transcript For Strip 1606

Panel 1
Eithne and Ralf running together down a corridor, Eithne a bit in the lead.
Eithne (thought): He's not as fast as I am but fast enough.
Eithne (thought): Once we get past the main junction I can trigger the vacuum alarms.
Panel 2
Eithne and Ralf run through the main junction. A pair of Gluteans are emerging from one of the other corridors and see them.
Eithne (thought): Spotted! Well, I figured as much.
Eithne (thought): And Murphy thinks I waste my time playing virtual commando games.
Eithne (thought): Just a few more meters ...

Panel 3
Eithne and Ralf pass through an archway into another corridor. Alarms flash and the gateway begins to close.
SFX: FWEEEK!!! FWEEEK!!! FWEEEK!!!
Eithne: That'll keep most of 'em bottled up for at least a kilosec.
Panel 4
A trio of burly Glutean guards block the way ahead.
Eithne (thought): Not all of them, unfortunately.
Eithne (thought): This calls for hyperspeed.

Panel 5
Eithne suddenly darts forward and plants a fist square into the face of one of the gluteans, sending him reeling backward.
Eithne (thought): Up to you now, Ralf.
Panel 6
Ralf has grabbed one of the remaining three Gluteans by the legs and is using him to swat the other two. Eithne looks on from panel's edge
Eithne (thought): Now, there's some poetry in motion.
