Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Eithne (from inside the craft, in K'Tagonese): Button up that hatch, Ralf! We launch in six seconds!
Panel 2
Exterior shot, the police cruiser rocketing away from the station on the airless planetoid.
Eithne (K'Tagonese): All systems looking good, thrusters steady at maximum.
Eithne: Ten seconds to warp.
Panel 3
Eithne, strapped into her pilot's chair, swivels a bit to face Ralf, strapped into the co-pilot's chair. Eithne is un-strapping herself.
Eithne: Aaand that's it. Steady as she goes at Warp Factor 8.
Eithne: I've activated the ship's stealth mode so they shouldn't be able to track us.

Ralf is un-strapping himself as Eithne looks on.
Ralf: You have some remarkable skills.
Ralf: You can defeat the collars, trigger false alarms …
Ralf: … unlock supposedly unbreakable high-security control systems ...

Ralf springs to his feet while grabbing Eithne by the front of her shirt.
Ralf: … And you speak K'Tagonese much better than you've let on.
Eithne: HEY!!

Ralf holds Eithne up so that they're nose to nose as he roars at her.
