Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 1642
Panel 1Exterior of the cruiser in the docking bay. A large tube has telescoped out from the starboard wall and attached to the cruiser's airlock. We can see Eithne and Ralf through windows in the pressurized tube. They are both carrying large rucksacks.
Eithne: We're going to need a pressurized bay to do the mods we need on Ha'arokk.
Ralf: I have to make arrangements with the dockmaster.
Panel 2
Eithne and Ralf are at the Dockmaster's station. But the Dockmaster is already occupied with another ship captain (a random alien) who is fairly enraged.
Captain: Don't tell me I was off the beam! I was locked dead-on when Ephemrys crossed my vector!
Dockmaster: You're supposed to maintain over-watch.
Dockmaster: You can't rely on auto-gation in tight spaces like this!
Panel 3
A second random alien – the Ephemrys captain comes charging in past Eithne and Ralf
Ephemrys Captain: What the hell is wrong with your traffic system, Mezzy?
Ephemrys Captain: I'd just replaced that starboard hull plating!
Ralf (sotto voce, to Eithne): We may be here a while.
