A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

QUANTUM VIVE is taking a break for a few weeks, as we prepare for Part 2 of the Novo Palermo story, and also for a Kickstarter campaign for Part 1, which will start in September.
In the meantime, Not-Safe.Space will continue, as a murder mystery begins and the relationship between Eithne and Diana develops in unexpected directions.

Panel 1Ralf helps Eithne limp back to their cruiser.

Ralf: There's a medi-kit in the cruiser, we can deal with it there.

Inside the airlock, Ralf touches a panel and the outer door closes behind them.
Ralf: That Goon somehow got past the dock's security.
Ralf: From now on, we keep this boat buttoned-up.
Eithne: That will make it difficult to do exterior work.
Ralf: We'll use the Work-Bee for that.

Eithne is sitting in her cock-pit chair, swiveled around to face aft. Ralf is scanning her foot with a medi-kit.
Ralf: One simple fracture to your … fourth toe?
Eithne: My nano-bots will set and mend the fracture. I just need painkillers.
Ralf: Well, so much for my plans to take you dancing.
Eithne: Now you tell me.
