To boldly go where no manic pixie dream girl has gone before.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Cut to a Brennir interrogation room. Murphy and Hugo are both strapped to tables. A pair of Brennir are torturing Murphy while Hugo looks on helplessly.
Caption: 'Treating us as bio-folk at first, they tortured us to give up our secrets.
Caption: 'Of course neither of us could allow such a savage species access to civilized galaxies.
Caption: 'For me, the hardest part was watching … what they did to Murphy.'
Panel 2
Now Hugo just a head and torso from the waist up, are held in a fiendish-looking brace with various wires protruding from his head to a console being viewed by a pair of Brennir. A third Brennir stands on the other side of Hugo, looking on.
Caption: 'Then they remembered what we are, and switched to a more direct approach.
Caption: 'After removing my limbs, they attempted to download the technology directly from my brain.
Caption: 'But I was able to sequester that information, and they were thwarted.'
Panel 3
Cut back to Murphy, Theo and Hugo in the CUSH corridor.
Murphy: So, their cyber-technology is still centuries behind our level.
Theo: It was a stalemate. We could not escape but they could not learn our secrets.
Hugo: A 'stalemate' wherin you were 'disarmed' in the worst possible way.
