Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

UPDATE: There has been some strange glitch in the Kickstarter launch, so Scott is cancelling the campaign temporarily and will re-start as soon the cause of the problem can be determined and corrected.

Transcript For Strip 1702
Panel 1Looking past Theo at Hugo, Murphy and Eithne: Eithne is clasping her hands and squealing like a 9-year-old girl.
Hugo: Well, Theo, as it happen...
Eithne: SQUEEEEE!!!!
Eithne: Are you Theophilus Farnsworth FOR REALZ?!
Panel 2
Like a little-girl on a sugar-binge, Eithne dances frenetically around Theo, who is befuddled by the spectacle.
Theo: Young lady, I …
Eithne: This is SO EXCITING!
Eithne: When I tell my friends back home about meeting you, they'll DIE of envy!
Eithne: Did you really know Sam Harris?
Panel 3
Eithne moves in closer, still dancing but also caressing Theo's shoulders, back, and upper torso.
Eithne: To actually have a conversation with the man who did more to change the course of humanity than Thomas Edison, even! Or Genghis Kahn!
Theo: If I may say ...
Eithne: Well, you're a tin man now but that's okay!
Eithne: You're still the same you as you were when you were ...
Panel 4
Eithne quickly moves in close and bites Theo on the nose.
SFX: Chomp!
Panel 5
Theo suddenly stiffens and topples over, insensate. Eithne catches him. Hugo and Murphy are astounded.
Hugo: What in Bog's name …?
Eithne: I told ya, I'm an expert roboticist.
Eithne: And, well, there are ways to put androids in 'sleep' mode that aren't discussed often.
Panel 6
Eithne and Murphy each are holding the unconscious Theo by a shoulder, pulling him across the deck on his heels. Hugo is contemplating his own nose.
Hugo: I can't say I'm thrilled to learn about this vulnerability.
Eithne: We don't have much time. I need help getting him over into this alcove.
