To boldly go where no manic pixie dream girl has gone before.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Eithne suddenly finds herself standing on a gigantic old-style circuit board, full of attached resistors, capacitors, transistors, etc.
Eithne (thought): Every time I beat him, he just re-arranges the environment.
Eithne (thought): It's all I can do to adapt quickly enough to each new situation.
Panel 2
Eithne suddenly whirls and trains her rifle on Hugo, who has appeared suddenly behind her. His avatar is wearing the encounter suit he used while on the Dryhaven.
Hugo: Don't shoot!
Eithne: Hugo! The hell're you doing here?
Hugo: I came to help you.
Panel 3
Hugo and Eithne turn to see Theo in the form of a giant soldering iron, its tip glowing yellow-hot, hovering menacingly over them.
Eithne: Good. I'm not up on my classical artifacts ...
Eithne: … But if that's what I think it is, I could use a heat-shield.
