Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Diana, still at her desk, looks contemplatively at her desktop holoscreen
Caption: Roaz said that my having 'fresh eyes' for being from the boonies would help me solve this mystery.
Caption: Maybe, but I still had a lot to learn about the subject at hand – arti-folk and their role in this culture. Time for some basic research.
Panel 2
Diana turns to the big wall-screen on her left, which is now activating.
Caption: Since I wasn't dealing with sensitive client data I could use the wall-screen.
Caption: It's full 3-D holo, full chroma, and gesture-sensitive.
Caption: Well, I'm impressed by it.
Panel 3
Looking past Diana at the full wall-screen, which is showing a search menu with the topic 'Arti-folk In Society' highlighted.
Caption: I looked for a broad overview. But not too broad.
Caption: I have a tendency to get lost in the Redes, so to speak.
Panel 4
The screen is filled with blocks bearing different titles: ARTI-FOLK HIGH, SOCIETY FOR ARTI-FOLK JUSTICE, ARTI-FOLK SOCIAL STRUCTURES, SOCIAL ARTI-FOLK, and OUR ARTI-FOLK FRIENDS. Diana's hand is pointing towards that last one.
Caption: I started with the basics.
