Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Not-Safe.Space Kickstarter! [ Mar 9, 2026 ]
UPDATE to the UPDATE: The problem has been solved, all rewards are now available. I've extended the campaign an extra day, to April 21. Thanks for bearing with me!
UPDATE: There has been some strange glitch in the Kickstarter launch, so Scott is cancelling the campaign temporarily and will re-start as soon the cause of the problem can be determined and corrected.
Scott is gearing-up for his third Not-Safe.Space Kickstarter campaign!
(Not-Safe.Space is Scott's sexy spin-off of QUANTUM VIBE.)
For those of you who haven't signed up for one of the NSFW Patreon tiers, this will be the best way to get in on the action for a very reasonable price.
Go to THIS link. The campaign starts March 16 and runs through April 20.
Panel 1
Diana is seated across a desk from Dong, a middle-aged Asian-type with a whispy beard and a top-knot. A bit of grey at the temples.
Caption: Dong was 438 years old but didn't look a day over 45. Like most people in the City.
Dong: So you are working a case where you may face personal danger? What can you tell me about it?
Diana: Very little, I'm afraid. Client confidentiality.
Panel 2
Dong and Diana.
Dong: Then there is little I can say to help you, Ms. Martelli.
Diana: Let's just say trouble could come from any direction, at any time. What can I do?
Dong: You might hire a body-guard.
Panel 3
Dong and Diana, who is looking a bit dejected.
Diana: That … might interfere with my work.
Dong: A good body-guard can be quite unobtrusive.
Diana: Someone that good would cost more than I can afford.
Panel 4
Dong holds up a small device. Diana peers at it with interest.
Dong: Then I suggest you carry this personal panic-alarm.
Dong: It emits a 185-decibel sonic blast in all directions outside a one-meter safe-zone.
Caption: Advanced weaponized acoustics. This place continues to amaze me.
