Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Diana's flyer settles on a landing pad, where someone (we see silhouetted) stands waiting.
Caption: She was waiting for me, herself, at the landing pad.
Caption: She employs a household staff of 30, but didn't send a subordinate to greet me.
Caption: I felt simultaneously flattered and unnerved.
Panel 2
DeClayre is just slightly shorter than Diana, long straight white hair, a classic Jack Kirby beauty. She wears a big smile and thrusts out a hand to shake.
Caption: She looked 25, which I suppose was appropriate ...
DeClayre: Hi Diana! May I call you Diana? I hope your trip was pleasant.
Caption: At 237, she was the youngest Pillar of Bubbleopolis.
Panel 3
The two walk up a pathway towards the palace
DeClayre: It's terrible, isn't it, what happened to Hayami?
DeClayer: Did you know her?
Diana: I met her briefly. Before she turned against her last client.
Panel 4
The two pass through a gateway to the inner courtyard.
DeClayre: That was so hard to believe. So unlike the Hayami I knew.
Diana: The Hayami I knew was quite deceptive.
DeClayre: Indeed? Then we should compare notes.
