Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Exterior shot of The Hole In The Wall Bar & Grill. Sign reads, 'Open 20 Hours.'
Caption: Juan's 'Plan B' was to wait for him at this dive in another part of the city.
Caption: I wished he'd chosen a nicer place.
Panel 2
Inside THITW, Diana is in a booth at the back, glowering back at the men in the place who are leering at her. A couple of the women, too. They all look like trash.
Caption: Or alternatively, that I still had vomit all over me.
Caption: Not that I ever craved attention but those losers completely creeped me out.
Panel 3
Medium shot at the bar, the bartender talking to some of the men.
Caption: Fortunately the barkeep was a friend of Juan's, and Juan had prompted him what to do if I showed up.
Caption:I don't know what he told the creeps, but they stayed away from me.
Caption: It's good to have friends in low places.
Panel 4
Medium shot of just Diana in her booth, waiting, looking isolated.
Caption: I waited for almost three hours in that joint for Juan.
Caption: After the first hour I whiled away the time thinking of things I would do to him the next time I saw him.
