Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)
Panel 1
Jump to a bit later, Diana is on her feet, her arm healed. She's projecting casual clothing. Lorelei is gesturing towards a comm station on the other wall in the room, which also has some other bedroom furniture. At one point we can see a door to an adjacent washroom.
Caption: Lorelei set me up with a workstation and account on the house network.
Caption: This way I could continue my explorations in the Redes, in relative safety.
Panel 2
Diana is at the workstation, but looking distracted.
Caption: Of course I knew that deClayre could be monitoring my research, here.
Caption: The only thing I could do about that was use a two-pronged approach.
Caption: I'd do my more general searching on the workstation but then follow links directly with my implant.
Panel 3
Different angle on Diana. A separate holoscreen is visible in front and a bit off to one side. It includes an image of Sergio Fritch.
Caption: It was klunky and tedious going, but I did find a few things out.
Caption: Most importantly, that Sergio Fritch was also a former member of Républicains Pour La Démocratie, at about the same time Hayami was.
Panel 4
Close-up on Diana, looking worried.
Caption: Along with some other Gianturco Garantia employees.
Caption: That means the two biggest security companies in Bubbleopolis have likely been compromised.
Caption: I wasn’t at all comfortable being in shit this deep. I wanted more than a shovel. A back-hoe, or maybe a nutron drill.
