Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) 30 day Indiegogo campaign.

Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Transcript For Strip 1826

Panel 1
Lorelei and Diana stand in the front doorway of the mansion. Dong and nieces are waiting at the foot of the steps.
Caption: And so I reached a deal with Dong Gyeon-Hoon, packed my flyer and toothbrush, and:
Diana: Well, I guess this is it. Thanks for everything, Lorelei.
Lorelei: You haven't quite seen everything yet.
Diana: What do you mean?
Panel 2
Lorelei and Diana proceed down the walk to the landing pad, with the guards trailing.
Lorelei: How are you going to fit your new retinue in that little coupe of yours?
Diana: Um, my flyer can convert to a 4-seater, but it loses a lot of its speed and maneuverability.
Lorelei: Suppose I can offer you an alternative?
Panel 3
The five stand in the background gazing upon Diana's new ride, resting on the landing pad: A flying car with a definite retro-1950s styling, with seating for four.
Lorelei: From my collection. I was going to move her to storage, because my garage is full.
Diana: I … don't know what to say.
Panel 4
The crew are now standing around the car, checking it out.
Lorelei: Don't let the vintage style fool you. This honey can push 50 gravs for up to 6 hours, and is space-worthy for trips up to three days.
Lorelei: And while not transmorphic like your flyer, it does transform into several configurations.
Lorelei: You'll see.
