Creepy moves in darkness dares discovery.
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

A Message From Alyss
So, we fell just a few hundred short of our goal, but that's okay, because it's a "Flexible Goal" meaning we still get the funds raised (minus Indiegogo's cut) so we can and will fulfill the promised perks.
We are grateful to all who contributed, and yes you are all now founding members of the "Free Cosmos Project," with all the privileges membership entitles you thereto. (Unless you don't want the honor, we'll respect that too.) Which for now means we'll be whipping up a spiffy little Certificate for each of you, physical versions sent out with the physical books requested, and PDF versions for the rest.
Indiegogo will disburse the funds to us soon. And we've already got the ball rolling printing books, and postcards, as well as the above-mentioned FCP certificates. And we'll be talking a bit more about the Free Cosmos Project in the coming weeks.
A business card materializes in the space between the snake and our heroes.
Snake: Peace, please! I'm not venomous.
Snake: At least, not in the conventional sense.
Snake: I am William I. Montoya, Attorney at Law
C/u of Diana looking thoughtfully at the business card.
Caption: I had described the principles of Bubbleopolis as 'Co-operative lawleness,' but they do have laws here, of a sort.
Caption: When people have disputes, they find an arbitrator or judge agreeable to all concerned who listens to each side and issues a judgement, which is then published.
Caption: Those published judgements form the basis of their law.
Caption: This had been explained to me early on, but I'd never met a lawyer before.
Montoya speaks to Diana as the bodyguards look on.
Montoya: My apologies, but you've been very difficult to reach these past few days.
Montoya: Have you not been getting my messages?
Diana: Ah, Montoya, yes. Well, I've been busy
Different angle on Montoya, Diana, and the bodyguards. Diana looks alarmed.
Montoya: There are certain powers-of-agency that Senhor Gómez assigned to you several cycles back.
Montoya: In the event he is … incapacitated, you are given full control of his business and personal property ...
Diana: You mean, he's DEAD?
