Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) - By Scott Bieser

Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]

The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.

Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.

(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Thanks to all for supporting this Kickstarter!

Transcript For Strip 1884

Panel 1
Back in the entryway in Zander's place, as Diana and Wook take their leave. Diana and Ginger are embracing, but Diana has a dubious expression on her face.

Caption: Once I had all of Zander's information, Wook and I took our leave.
Caption: I wasn't sure what to think about this new girlfriend of his.
Caption: A quick check in the Redes showed her background was clean, but at 157 she was eight times his age.
Panel 2
Exterior of super-flyer soaring among the buildings.

Caption: No point wondering what it is they talk about.
Caption: Now that I'd identified my prime suspect I needed to figure out how to approach him.
Caption: But first, I needed to learn as much as I could about him.
Panel 3
Inside the cabin. Diana is lost in thought as Wook is looking at a tiny holoscreen being projected from her left armband
Caption: I thought of Juan's old colleague, Paul Radoj, aka Huckleberry.
Caption: He could know a great deal about 'Didi.' The problem was, only Juan knew where to find him, and Juan was still, well, indisposed.
Caption: That meant returning to our office, to see if I could find some clue there.
Panel 4
Diana is surprised as Wook speaks.
Caption: The thought generated a knot in my stomach. My last experience there wasn't very much fun.
Caption: Then, a new problem manifested.
Wook: You do realize we're being followed, right?
