Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
QV on a short break [ Jul 15, 2026 ]
QUANTUM VIVE is taking a break for a few weeks, as we prepare for Part 2 of the Novo Palermo story, and also for a Kickstarter campaign for Part 1, which will start in September.
In the meantime, Not-Safe.Space will continue, as a murder mystery begins and the relationship between Eithne and Diana develops in unexpected directions.
Not-Safe.Space is a NSFW strip but more than half the pages are SFW so I've set those to *not* require a Patreon membership. Readers should be able to follow the story without seeing the NSFW pages. If I've done this right.
Panel 1
The group is joined by a 2.5-meter-tall, formidable-looking android. Diana is a bit unnerved.
Wendy: This is my man, Bob. He's head of security here.
Bob: Bom Dias!
Diana: Uh … hi.
Panel 2
Focus on Guido and Dominic. The box on Guido's chest is a portable scanning device. Guido is peering at the holoscreen it is generating as Dominic explains to the group who are looking on.
Alyss: Guido, do you have a reading?
Guido: I'm-a tuning it in now, keep-a your shirt on.
Dominic: Guido and I figured there'd be certain effects that must result from engineering something in two extra spatial dimensions ...
Panel 3
Guido continues focusing on his device as Dominic continues explaining.
Dominic: … namely, perturbations in the electro-gravitic fields we use everywhere in Bubbleopolis.
Guido: This is a very delicate operation. Don't a-joggle my elbow.
Dominic: From our lab we were able to scan city-wide for the tell-tale signs, and here we are.
Panel 4
The holoscreen displays an 'x' in the middle of some concentric circles.
Guido: Here we go! 'X' marks-a the spot.
Wendy: That's in the central core.
Guido: Will it take us long to get there? This-a place is enormous and I need a restroom-a break.
