Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.
All of this should show up in June.
Transcript For Strip 1961
Panel 1Looking from over Diana's shoulder at three of the goons, with Carmen standing behind one of them, looking apprehensive.
Caption: This would have been a good time to use that sonic grenade Dong gave me as all this was starting.
Caption: Except that Carmen was in the room, and I still wasn't sure whether she was a hostage or had set the trap for me.
Goon next to Carmen: Don't move!
Panel 2
A large blur rushes by Diana so fast it creates an air wake.
Caption: But before I could even not move ...
SFX: WHHOOSHH
Panel 3
The blur resolves into Wook, who has grabbed the goon to the right of the door and has flung him hard against the goon next to him. They barely miss a third goon who has dodged out of the way.
Caption: Proper training plus phenomenal speed plus strength equals a force to be reckoned with.
SFX: KRACK!!
Panel 4
Wook has engaged her shield just in time to fend off some zinger blasts as she charges at the next two goons.
Caption: The other goons soon recovered from the surprise, and despite her shield it wouldn't be long before one of them hit her with a zinger.
SFX: ZING ZING ZING
