Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Medium shot of Alyss aboard the Eva Jeanne, looking very distressed.
Radio voice: Attention the starship … Eva Jeanne. This is Tenente Hidalgo with Gianturco Garantia.
Radio voice: You are in a restricted area. Please respond with a security code or depart immediately.
Panel 2
Aboard a Gianturco Guarantia craft, we're looking past the Tenente at Alyss' face on a viewscreen.
Alyss: I'm sorry, I've been away for a while, but I own this sphere.
Hidalgo: Senhora Roaz? Yes, you are recognized, but …
Hidalgo: Would you be willing to stand by while I contact Senhor Cooper?
Panel 3
Left half of a double-panel. Exterior view of Eva Jeanne. We're inside the Da Sousa sphere, which is fairly dark. Large chunks of ruined buildings scattered about, some utility craft moving about.
Alyss (from ship): Uh, sure. I need some time to take this all in.
Hidalgo (OP): Very good. He should be with us momentarily.
Panel 4
Right half of double-panel. Exterior view of the GG patrol craft.
Hidalgo (from patrol craft): And for what it's worth, I know how you must feel.
Alyss (OP): That's kind of you to say, but I doubt it.
