Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 2056
Panel 1Alyss is striding purposefully up a broad corridor. Several people in the background have turned to notice her. Some whisper among themselves.
Whisper 1: Is that really …?
Whisper 2: Where the hell has she been?
Whisper 3: Is it true what I've been hearing?
Whisper 4: Shh! She can hear you!
Panel 2
Jerome Falstaff comes up and walks beside Alyss. He has a tiny camera-drone over his shoulder. She gives him the side-eye but keeps moving.
Jerome: Senhora Roaz? I'm Jerome Falstaff with Notícias Inacreditável.
Alyss: That figures.
Jerome: Ah. Well, we've been wondering where you were when the City was attacked, and the people have been crying out for leadership.
Panel 3
The keep walking. Alyss is looking increasingly irritated.
Alyss: I was on sabbatical, and 'the people' seem to be looking for someone to blame.
Jerome: Do you think it was responsible for a Pillar of this City to disappear as you did, and be unreachable at a time of crisis?
Alyss: Let me put it this way, Jerome ...

Alyss shouts at Jerome, who blanches.
