Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
In the Castle Hodge-Podge reception room, Seamus and Nicole continue their interview.
Seamus: But enough about us, let me tell you about the project I need you to help with.
Seamus: I'm running an experiment to help me refine our knowledge of quantum vibremonics.
Panel 2
Nicole looks a bit crestfallen.
Nicole: Quantum vibremonics? Um, I do have a physics background but that's a highly advanced field. I'm afraid I don't know anything about it.
Panel 3
Seamus flashes a toothy grin.
Seamus: Excellent!
Seamus: The last thing I need is another so-called 'expert' second-guessing what I'm doing.
Panel 4
Nicole brightens and Seamus explains.
Seamus: I need someone competent to help me use some equipment and a quick enough study to learn what she needs to along the way.
Panel 5
Seamus indicates a viewscreen on the far wall, which now displays a not-to-scale diagram of the Sol System, with a bright line indicating a route running from planet to planet.
Seamus: Also, you should travel well – we'll be visiting Mercury, Venus, Luna, Mars, Vesta, Europa, and Titan.
Panel 6
Looking past Seamus at Nicole, who has brightened considerably.
Seamus: What do you think?
Nicole: I think this is just the adventure I've been looking for.
Panel 7
Seamus scratches his nose thoughtfully.
Seamus: Adventure. Well, yes, I suppose.
Seamus: There is one other thing ...
Panel 8
Medium close-up on Nicole, her smile transforming into a grimmace.
Seamus (OP): You'll need to pilot a Helio-flyer under the Solar Corona, and drop an explosive package.
Seamus: Can you pilot a Helio-flyer?
