Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Montoya confronts his stalker, who is sprawled in a corner. The stalker is wearing a holo-concealment suit. He just looks like a dark-grey blur.
Montoya (thought): A concealment holo? I've definitely tripped a wire.
Montoya: All right, whoever you are, drop the holo and face me like a man.
Panel 2
Montoya grabs what he surmises is the stalker's coat to haul him to his feet, and the holo-field fades to reveal the face of a woman.
Montoya: Ah, face me like a woman, then. Who are you ...
Panel 3
The stalker clocks Montoya with a right cross.
SFX: CHOK
Montoya: WROGH!
Panel 4
Montoya is stunned, but keeps his feet. However, the stalker is running away, fast.
Montoya: Run away, little creep. But I got your number.
