Dark plans fall like thunderbolts.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Project Complete! [ Oct 31, 2023 ]
We made it! We exceeded our target goal and we're wrapping up the loose ends. Big thanks to our project backers. We're your biggest fans for supporting our project to create the Omnibus hard bound edition of Quantum Vibe: The Murphy Drive>, a collection of the first three volumes of the Quantum Vibe saga.
Over the next week or so, Scott will be assembling the book pages for printing. We expect to have the printed books and other items on hand and ready for ship in December 2023. The E-book edition of the Omnibus should be available for download from DriveThruComics to those backers who selected that award. Vouchers will be sent via email.
Panel 1
Montoya is looking across a broad avenue at a mansion, with a wall and a closed gate.
Montoya (thought): Well. I doubt she could be THAT vastly overpaid.
Montoya: Unfortunately I also doubt I can gain access to this place.
Panel 2
Montoya seats ‶her″self on a park bench.
Montoya (thought): Fortunately, this lovely park is directly across the avenue.
Montoya: No doubt whoever lives in that mansion enjoys the view.
Panel 3
Montoya has pulled a vacuum flask and sandwich from the satchel and is making like an ordinary park visitor.
Montoya (thought): Early evening now, perfect time for a bit of dinner-al-fresco.
Montoya: I won't be able to keep this ruse up for very long, though. I'll have to think of something ...
Panel 4
Looking past Montoya as a hovercar about the size of a large SUV emerges from the gates.
Montoya (thought): … else?
Montoya: The tracer signal is coming from that hovercar!
Montoya: Guess I wasn't so well-prepared after all.
