Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
They walk over to Sergio's desk, its traditional oaken-desk features matching the frame surrounding the map of the City on the wall behind.
Sergio: She disappeared the same day as the the Grande Bosta, without a trace.
Sergio: We'd hoped Stern could help us find her, but he had little useful information.
Albert: I'd like to question him.
Panel 2
Focus on Sergio.
Sergio: I'm afraid that's not possible.
Sergio: Five days ago Quirós was spotted at a shopping mall near the old CraigsBanc building.
Sergio: One day later Stern disappeared from his cell in the old CraigsBanc building.
Panel 3
Albert parks one cheek on the corner of Sergio's desk as they continue their palaver.
Albert: Quite a coinky-dink, as my granma used to say.
Sergio: We're sure what happened. She used a chameleon-holo that fooled the the two guards she walked past and the one she zinged …
Sergio: … but our cameras got a good look at her just outside the cell.
Panel 4
Another angle on Albert and Sergio, Albert is smiling wryly.
Alberto: Tsk-tsk. And her appearance there didn't set off any alarms?
Sergio: Hey, you know we have little experience doing jails or prisons here.
Alberto: Yeah, it's to our credit we haven't needed to. But damned inconvenient now.
