Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

UPDATE: There has been some strange glitch in the Kickstarter launch, so Scott is cancelling the campaign temporarily and will re-start as soon the cause of the problem can be determined and corrected.

Panel 1Cut to: the Pillars' meeting room. Alyss has the crystal mounted in a machine that has rolled out from one of the dozen panels along the room's sides. The others look on (we don't have to see them all at once.)
Caption: After the pillars return to their conference room:
Alyss: Well, it's clean in the sense of no hidden malware or spyware.
Lorelei: Are you sure?

Alyss gestures at Jorge.
Alyss: Ask Jorge. This examiner is his company's gadget.
Jorge: I'd stake your life on it.
Alyss: There. Does that answer your question, Lorelei?

Alyss pops open one of her ear-flaps, indicating a crystal receptacle. Lorelei is non-plussed.
Lorelei: Stake what? Alyss ---!

With the crystal inserted, Alyss' eyes go psychedelic. Lorelei looks alarmed, but Jorge smiles and the others roll their eyes.
Alyss: Ohhhhh maaaaannnn.
Alyss: Wotta ruuuusshhhhh.
