Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

We reached our goal and then some. We want to thank all of our backers for helping us reach and surpass our goal. Panel 1Cut to: the Pillars' meeting room. Alyss has the crystal mounted in a machine that has rolled out from one of the dozen panels along the room's sides. The others look on (we don't have to see them all at once.)
Caption: After the pillars return to their conference room:
Alyss: Well, it's clean in the sense of no hidden malware or spyware.
Lorelei: Are you sure?

Alyss gestures at Jorge.
Alyss: Ask Jorge. This examiner is his company's gadget.
Jorge: I'd stake your life on it.
Alyss: There. Does that answer your question, Lorelei?

Alyss pops open one of her ear-flaps, indicating a crystal receptacle. Lorelei is non-plussed.
Lorelei: Stake what? Alyss ---!

With the crystal inserted, Alyss' eyes go psychedelic. Lorelei looks alarmed, but Jorge smiles and the others roll their eyes.
Alyss: Ohhhhh maaaaannnn.
Alyss: Wotta ruuuusshhhhh.
