Dark plans fall like thunderbolts.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)
Panel 1
Scene continues. Verdura is counting on two fingers.
Verdura: Okay, as I see it, we've got two kinds of problems:
Verdura: One: assholes starting fires, setting off bombs, and breaking things.
Verdura: Two: degraded social cohesion, confidence and trust.
Panel 2
Chan
Chan: The first is a job for the assurance agencies but they are being overwhelmed.
Chan: Paying massive claims from the Gran Raio has left them ill-equipped to deal with the increasing violent crimes.
Panel 3
Stauder
Stauder: I've been talking with Sheldon Rico, who runs the Mentes Libres beneficencia.
Stauder: He says to shore up public morale we need something people can rally around. A symbol. An inspirational story.
