A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 2245

Panel 1
Diana and Lester at the table looking not conspiratorial at all.
(all soto voce)
Lester: As I mentioned, there is a secret gateway to the city's instant-transport network, where records of all uses are stored in a coded block-chain.
Diana: Wow, really? All those transits are supposed to be confidential.
Panel 2
Lester is holding forth his index finger.
Lester: They're supposed to be, but for safety purposes records must be kept.
Lester: If something goes wrong – someone gets misplaced, or just disappears, Deslocação Dinámico needs to track what happened.
Lester: Here, take this key.
Panel 3
Diana touches her finger to his, and a small glow results.
Lester: We use this back door from time to time, in secret.
Lester: We can't use what we learn from this in court, but we can learn where to look for stuff we can use. It's a real time-saver.
Panel 4
Diana is looking at her finger like it's brand new. Lester picks up another rib and prepares to eat it.
Lester: There's a secret address, and a temporary password that will get you in within the next 40 hours.
Lester: Don't use the company's gear. Go home and use your private node. Be discreet.
