Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.
All of this should show up in June.
Transcript For Strip 2255
Panel 1Yeonmi, Otto and Daskalov move to the opposite-side patient's bay
Daskalov: Here we have Jane Doe 1782, a Level 10 Trauma victim.
Yeonmi: Level 10?
Otto: Means it's a miracle she survived.
Panel 2
The three surrounding Jane Doe laying comatose in her bed. Head still mostly bandaged but not completely encased as before. There are gizmos on her eye-sockets, building new eyes for her.
Daskalov: The limb re-growth is proceding apace, and we have reconstructed both her hearing and her oral tissues.
Daskalov: The language centers of her brain are revivified and should function normally.
Panel 3
Daskalov, Otto, Yeonmi.
Daskalov: I want to wake her now, briefly, to see if we can get a name or some clue as to who she is.
Otto: Won't that be traumatic for her? She's still blind, her implant is gone, and she has no hands yet.
Panel 4
Daskalov, Otto, Yeonmi.
Daskalov: She's also horribly scarred and will remain so unless we can find out that she has insurance so we can get her into a Lazarus bath.
Daskalov: And the sooner we can do that, the better.
Yeonmi: ooo … I think right now her blindness is a blessing.
