Dark plans fall like thunderbolts.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Cut to Greta Heidelberg in her office in Novo Paolo, confering with holograms of Marlon Trudeau and Jean-Luc Macron.
Caption: Six days later, elsewhere in the city:
Greta: Fourteen days already and no bombings! You are falling down on the job.
Jean-Luc: That is hardly a fair assessment, Madame Minister.
Panel 2
Greta, Marlon, Jean-Luc
Jean-Luc: Local security has adapted quickly, as I said before.
Jean-Luc: They have uncovered and neutralized two-thirds of our cells.
Greta: Two-thirds? That’s almost unprecedented.
Panel 3
Greta, Marlon, Jean-Luc (who side-eyes Marlon)
Jean-Luc: It didn’t help matters that Mordy personally handed them information leading to a third of them.
Marlon: Those were the weakest of the bunch.
Marlon: None of us anticipated the development of this Resposta Ciudadana, slowing recruitment down to almost nothing.
Panel 4
Greta, Marlon, Jean-Luc
Jean-Luc: Our focus on the five Pillars was too narrow, and ...
Greta: Enough with the excuses! As it happens, this lull may prove to be beneficial.
Marlon: What?
Jean-Luc: How?
