Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Bok: So far I’ve received reports of this so-called ‘Freedom Legion’ invading 128 of the 153 spheres in Bubbleopolis.
Bok: Hundreds of citizens have been critically injured in confrontations with these ‘Libérateurs.’
Panel 2
Jerome Falstaff on his own Noticías Inacreditável newscast set.
Jerome: After numerous brief skirmishes the public seems to have mostly gone to ground ...
Jerome: Remaining in their homes and shuttered businesses and awaiting word from the Pillars, the security companies, or even Resposta Ciudadana, who all seem to have been blind-sided by these events.
Panel 3
Back to Bok, over his shoulder we see Eva Jeanne in battle with snappers near the Shield Hall building.
Bok: The invaders seem focused on key locations, especially Shield Hall, where the control center for the city’s Oresme Shield is heretofore ‘secretly’ located.
Bok: Deslocação Dinámico has put out an S.o.s. to all parties capable of coming to their aid.
Panel 4
Split panel: On the left is Jerome, on the right, Bok.
Jerome: For the moment, the forces seem equally matched, but more invaders and assault craft are appearing each minute.
Bok: The invaders control the intra-city displacer matrix. Private portals seem secure, but security forces are hobbled in their movements.
Jerome and Bok: Whether the city remains free or falls to the invaders, will be determined in the next few days.
