Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.
All of this should show up in June.
Transcript For Strip 2352
Panel 1Another part of the building, Kang approaches a different squad of his men (including “Kelso”) who have just won a firefight with some Invaders who had been posted to the building’s main Displacer Net portal. Their bodies are piled all around.
Kang: That’s quite a large detachment of guards.
Kelso: Yes sir, but this is the building’s main Displacer Net portal.

Kang and Kelso
Kang: Not surprising it would be well-guarded, but our scans had indicated fewer troops here than we’ve encountered so far.
Kelso: As long as they have command of the Net, they can ...

Suddenly Kelso is shot in the back.
Kelso: GUH!
SFX:
Panel 4
Change view to show one Demônio diving for cover as a squad of Invaders comes charging up the corridor, guns zanging.
SFX: Multiple ZANGs
Panel 5
Kang is with Kelso taking cover behind a pile of Invader corpses. Kang is returning fire as he talks to Kelso.
Kang: You said this section was cleared.
Kelso: {cough} It was, but more keep coming through the portals.
Kelso: {cough} Main portal is 17 meters down that way.
SFX: Multiple fainter ZANGs
Panel 6
The firing has died down, Kang rises a bit and pulls two long objects out of his backpack.
Kang: I had hoped to avoid this.
Kang: Ping, stay with Kelso. Horton, you’re on me.
