Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 2379

Panel 1
Bok doing a newstream in darker clothing and apparently from a bunker.
Caption: Back in Bubbleopolis:
Bok: With the city’s Displacer Net destroyed, the invaders are still highly mobile, using troop carriers to ferry their so-called ‘libérateurs’ from sphere to sphere.
Panel 2
A schematic-map of the city fills the screen, with colors indicating the destroyed spheres, and the invaded spheres.

Caption (Bok): ‘A steady stream of invaders slips past the city’s defenses, now largely out-numbering Chang’s Demônios de Combate as well as Cooper Seguridad and the other security agencies.’
Panel 3
A family hunkered down in their apartment. A deliverer pops-in holding large bags (of food).

Caption (Bok): ‘While citizens remain locked-down in their homes, some with personal Displacers and a high risk tolerance make the rounds, delivering foods and medications as needed.’

Panel 4
The Eva Jeanne swoops by in front of an agrilobe, blasting Snappers.
Caption (Bok): ‘Some of our wealthier citizens own battle-capable skycraft, and are fending off swarms of the invading ‘Snappers’ assaulting an increasing number of important targets.
Caption: ‘Most critically, the globo agrícolas which are a critical food source for the city.’

Panel 5
A group of Demônios crowd a doorway looking into a room full of mutilated corpses, which we see mostly silhouetted. Diana-Clone is in there.
Caption (Bok): ‘A detachment of the Demônios remained in the Libby Building after their attempt to recapture the Displacer Net resulted in the network’s destruction.’

Caption: The detachment made a grisly discovery: the mutilated corpses of the original crew who worked there.

Panel 6
A medico corridor, Kāng Min-Chèng is on a guerney being rushed to the ER. We can see Otto trotting along beside the guerney.

Caption (Bok): ‘During the battle, Kāng himself was grievously injured, and rushed to an un-named hospital. It is unknown if and when he will be able to rejoin the struggle.’
